1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and of sound mind to use Karya Wills to create a will.

2. What Karya Wills is

Karya Wills is a self-service tool that helps you draft and format a will based on the information you provide. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal representation or advice. Using the service does not create a lawyer–client relationship.

3. No legal advice

The service, including any templates, prompts, and generated documents, is provided for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer. For anything complex or uncertain, please consult a legal professional. See our Disclaimer for more.

4. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you enter.
• A will is only valid if it is executed correctly. You are responsible for properly signing and witnessing your will as required by applicable law (for example, the Indian Succession Act, 1925). Generating a document here does not by itself make it legally valid.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

5. Payments and refunds

Paid tiers (Will Lite and Will Premium) are charged through Razorpay at the prices shown at checkout. Because each purchase unlocks a digital document tied to your will, payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Contact us if you believe you were charged in error.

6. Intellectual property

The Karya Wills platform, branding, and templates are our property. The contents of the will you create are yours.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Karya Wills is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service, including any question about the legal validity or enforceability of a document you create.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
